Celebrating a client milestone- one thousand submissions to AGRF’s Sanger sequencing service.29 October 2015
Oliver and his group were early adopters of AGRF’s most recently established node in 2010 and has supported the service ever since. Oliver’s research falls into two areas of interest: engineering and understanding mammalian gene expression, and synthetic biology using microbial model organisms.
Oliver continues to count on Sanger sequencing in light of new techniques, using it for verifications of his plasmids and constructs, seeking a close and quick interaction with the AGRF lab to enable his work to continue at an unabated pace.
Oliver and his colleagues celebrated with a special carrot cake while the AGRF Perth Node Manager, Shane Herbert presented Oliver with a glass DNA helix award.
We are very thankful for Oliver’s support and look forward to working with Oliver on many exciting projects to come.
From the team at AGRF, thank you Oliver!

Right : This impressive milestone is only the third time, one thousand submissions have been achieved in AGRF’s history. This calls for cake!
