By using our DNA extraction service you remove this laborious but critical step from your pipeline. Our suite of DNA QC equipment makes preparation of stock DNA for downstream processes quick and reliable. It will give you more time to think, plan and publish.

Our Service

Our service is available for a range of starting materials and species. We also have high-throughput capabilities and large cryo-storage facilities available to handle large projects.

We cover:

• Biomedical – tissue, blood, Buccal swabs, Saliva self-collection kits
• Microbial – culture pellets
• Agricultural – leaves, seeds, blood, ear clips etc
• Environmental – soil, sediments, faeces
• More available by request

Customised to suit your needs

Before you submit your samples, we will discuss your objectives and help you plan the DNA extraction process. This often incorporates a small-scale pilot test to ensure our process is compatible with your downstream applications.

Result format and delivery

Once we extract your DNA, we will deliver your quality and quantity results electronically.

Your samples can then be either:

• Sent through to one of our downstream services
• Returned to you
• Stored at AGRF for future use

Solutions for dirty and dilute extractions

We now offer the Boreal Genomics “Aurora” DNA Purification service. This can help if you have extracted your samples and found that they do not perform well in your downstream applications. More Info >
